A. Please call our office as soon as you determine that you have a dental emergency. If you have a dental emergency during regular business hours, we will be glad to work you into our schedule. After hours, over the weekend and during holidays, please call our office for the doctor's emergency contact number.
A. As long as you brush and floss thoroughly, it does not matter if you brush then floss or floss then brush. However, flossing before brushing enables the fluoride in your toothpaste to better reach the areas between the teeth.
Beginning with an initial consultation, we take impressions of your smile and plan for your dental implant placement. If your jaw bone has weakened due to tooth loss, then we will perform the necessary bone graft or sinus lift procedures in office. When your jaw is ready and the restorations have been planned, then Dr. Chaudhry will perform the implant placement. With a temporary restoration placed on the implant abutments, your mouth will be functional and healthy as the jaw bone heals over the next two to six months. For complex cases we can have a periodontist come into our office to do the procedures.
Through a process known as osseointegration, your dental implants fuse to the jaw bone and act as an artificial tooth root. This fusion gives dental implants a permanent foundation to which a long-lasting restoration is attached. After your restorations are finished, then they are attached to the implants and fit seamlessly in with the rest of your smile.

Dental anxiety and phobia are disorders causing people to avoid dentists and important dental treatments. People suffering with anxiety experience increased stress and nervousness when at the dental office and are therefore reluctant to visit the dentist.
Realize that others share your fears and are ready to help you overcome them through self-help and peer support groups, some of which are online. Professional psychological counseling and psychotherapy also are available for more serious cases.
Identify your fears and educate yourself about realistic and unrealistic expectations, possible treatment options and what they involve, how to find the right dentist, areas of specialty, etc. Discuss your treatment with your dentist so you will know exactly what to expect. Ask for information you can read at home, and conduct research online.
Choose a dental team with the technological-savvy, tools and skills to make you feel safe and well cared for; one that possesses the patience and expertise to reassuringly guide you through the treatment plan.
